How to add domains within cPanel

Every HostMetro account comes with the ability to host as many domain names and websites as you'd like. Adding domain names is easily done through cPanel.

*Please Note: This guide assumes that the domain name is already registered. If the domain is not yet registered, please click here for instructions on how to do so.

1. Login to your cPanel control panel.
2. Navigate to the "Domains" section and click on "Addon Domains."
3. Type in the new domain name you want to add to your account (do not include http:// or www.).
4. Click on the "Password" text box. The Subdomain/FTP User Name and Document Root fields will automatically populate.
5. Type in a new FTP password for this domain name/FTP account.
6. Type in the password again to confirm.
7. Click "Add Domain."

After the domain name has been added you can use your hosting account to host this domain's website. Upload or publish all files for this website into the folder that is named after the domain name.
