Every HostMetro account includes a free basic hosting account transfer. Requesting the transfer is as simple as filling out our transfer request form. To request a transfer please visit https://www.hostmetro.com/transfer-request.html. Please allow up to 3 business days for the transfer to be completed.
Basic transfer limitations:
- Hosting accounts can not exceed 3GB in total space
- Website must currently be hosted on a cPanel/WHM server
- Previous hosting account must be active so we can access the account and must remain active for the duration of the transfer.
- Client must give HostMetro temporary access to cPanel account of old host
